TRS-80 model 200
Another new friend! Any guesses?

It’s the TRS-80 model 200! An enhanced version of the famous model 100 portable with a larger screen that pops up. Built in word processing, BASIC, and telecom features, it was perfect for journalists in 1984.

This kit is in near mint condition, with a TTXpress thermal printer, a Radio Shack TRS-80 tape deck, power adapter, barcode reader pen (!), and all cables. I assume it’s been recently cleaned and restored as it didn’t come in original boxes. NOS thermal paper and tapes on order!

I got some thermal paper and am printing up a storm! Still need to figure out the print modes on this thing. It can do better than receipt-width prints.
